Providers Committee

The Providers Committee supports mental health and substance use disorder providers in strengthening suicide prevention efforts for both the people they serve and the workforce itself. The committee focuses on:

  • Supporting providers with evidence-based suicide prevention tools, training, and best practices

  • Enhancing providers’ ability to identify suicide risk and respond effectively in clinical settings

  • Promoting provider well-being and resilience, including addressing burnout, secondary trauma, and compassion fatigue

  • Reducing suicide risk among mental health and substance use disorder workers

  • Fostering collaboration and shared learning across provider organizations
